Big Shot Live is an online talent search in cooperation with CBS and several great production companies. Anyone that thinks they have talent can upload their 60 second video to the site and rally their friends and fans to vote for them and send them to Hollywood.  Each day One winner from 7 different talent categories will be flown to Los Angeles, CA for their BIG SHOT at fame and fortune.  The winner will have a chance to audition in front of industry professionals that could make or break their career.
If they pass their audition, they will immediately be given a gig in Hollywood that very same day!
Once the talent passes their audition, their experience in Hollywood will be made into a episode featured on BigShotLive.com.  If that episode gets the most online views, the talent can be resent out to Hollywood for bigger and better auditions.
Hopefully that explains what Big Shot Live is. Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone
that voted for me on BIGSHOTLIVE.com last week.
Your votes took me to Hollywood this past weekend
and although I knew it was going to be a fun trip, it also
turned out to be quite successful. 

I had the opportunity to meet and audition with Chris
Fudurich. Chris is a very successful music producer and
has worked with many well known artists.  Chris is
interested in working with me and I look forward to
getting the opportunity to create some music with him
in the very near future.

As a treat for passing the audition, I got to attend a Pre-
Grammy party with the Plain White T's and act like a
BIG SHOT for at least one night. 

It was an exciting trip and now you can get me back to
Hollywood by spreading the word and getting others to
watch my Episode of Big Shot Live. The talent with the
most viewed Episode gets to return, so watch as many
times as you like. Each view gets me a little closer !

The Band Helps GIVE BACK A SMILE !!!!

      

On May 17th 2007, Kevin and the Band headed down to Atlanta, GA to perform a benefit concert with Country Music Legend Kenny Rogers, along with many other national celebrities.  "Give Back a Smile" in association with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry restores the broken and damaged teeth of survivors of domestic violence. Survivors know that bruises and scars will fade but broken and missing teeth will not. The AACD's generous dentists erase that memory by restoring the smiles at no cost to the survivor thereby restoring their lives.

Kevin and the Band were happy to be a part of such a great evening.

New York Horns Saxophonist John Isley and Kevin Kline got to spend some time together this past week at the National Theater in Washington D.C.. John is ending almost a 3 year run with Billy Joel's Broadway Musical "Movin' Out". John Isley wrote all the horn parts for Kevin's "Live from West Street" album and also played several shows with the Kevin Kline Band in 2001 & 2002.

Congrats to John and we all wish him the Best in the Future. Maybe he'll sit in with the Kevin Kline Band again sometime soon?
